Day 1 (Evening)

           

           After a traditional Kerala meal, we made our way to Valara Waterfalls. Nestled right between the mountains, it’s a beautiful spot where you can see crowds of people enjoying the view and snapping photos.

Along the roadside, there are several charming little shops selling everything from souvenirs to accessories. Since I needed something to match my outfit, my husband picked out a cute cap for me. It ended up being the perfect addition to my look! There’s definitely a lot of interesting stuff to browse through while you enjoy the sound of the water.

After our adventures at the waterfall, we headed to our hotel to experience one of the things Kerala is most famous for: a traditional spa treatment. We stayed at the Munnar Resort and Spa, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. After a long, hectic day of traveling, we were feeling pretty exhausted, but the session was incredibly restorative. It completely refreshed our energy and was easily the highlight of our evening.
